Fusion FueledDiscuss your project

Software built for your operation, and managed by us.

When off-the-shelf software leaves critical gaps, we build the application around your operation, then host and manage it.

Where we help

The problems we get called for

  • Vendor software that fits eighty percent of the job

The missing twenty percent is often the part your operation depends on, spread across spreadsheets, exports, and email. We close those workflow gaps and manage the result in production.

  • A critical system that has become difficult to change

The system still works, but every change carries risk. We stabilize it, document what it actually does, and modernize it in steps that minimize downtime and operational risk.

  • Data trapped in systems that do not talk

Orders in one place, inventory in another, reporting assembled by hand. We integrate the systems and make the data usable where decisions get made.

  • AI ideas that need an operational case

We apply automation where it removes real work and has a credible, measurable business case. When it does not, we say so plainly.

Services

What we do

One primary offering, and the engineering capabilities behind it.

Custom Software, Built and Managed

We design the application around the way your operation works, then host, monitor, and maintain it in production. We define data ownership, export formats, access, and offboarding up front so the operating model is clear before development begins.

Best suited to organizations with business-critical workflows that off-the-shelf software cannot support cleanly, and that need a team accountable for the system after launch.

The capabilities behind it

  • Custom Software Development

Applications built for how your business actually operates, with the tests, documentation, and deployment discipline that keep them maintainable as they change.

  • AI & Automation

Automation applied where it creates operational leverage. We measure the work it removes and build it with clear review and correction paths.

  • Systems Integration & Data

Connecting the platforms you already run so information moves reliably, with the error handling and observability that keep integrations from failing silently.

  • Modernization & Architecture

Incremental replacement of systems that have outgrown their design, sequenced so value arrives before the project ends.

Work

Selected work

Four representative systems and the operational changes they enabled.

  • E-commerce brand protection platform

From read-only dashboards to an operational workspace

    Problem
Customer-facing analytics were embedded Tableau workbooks. Every change ran through a BI authoring tool instead of the engineering process, the cost of adding a customer included per-seat BI licensing, and a user who spotted a problem in a chart had to leave the dashboard to do anything about it.
    Outcome
Dashboards now ship through the same pull-request, testing, and deployment process as the product. Users can investigate a result and act on the underlying record without exporting data or leaving the screen.
    What we did
We built a React and TypeScript analytics application over an authorization API backed by BigQuery and PostgreSQL. Shared filters connect charts, KPIs, and record-level actions, while server-side controls isolate each customer's data.
  • Marketplace data platform

Ingestion that absorbs traffic spikes and downstream delays

    Problem
Data arrived by webhook faster than it could be parsed, and ingestion was coupled to processing. A slow parse or one malformed payload could lose records that would never be sent again.
    Outcome
Ingestion continues when downstream processing slows or rejects a payload. Records can be replayed without duplicating merged data, and warehouse cost follows volume instead of traffic spikes.
    What we did
Raw payloads land in durable object storage before acknowledgement. Pub/Sub and Cloud Run process them asynchronously; batch loads merge on idempotent keys, while reconciliation and a dead-letter queue recover missed or invalid work.
  • Intellectual property enforcement operations

Exception-based enforcement instead of manual filing

    Problem
Analysts filed intellectual property violations by hand through marketplace portals, one form at a time, each with its own login, session limits, and evidence requirements. Throughput was capped by the hours people could spend in a browser.
    Outcome
Routine filings no longer depend on analysts working through each form, and submitted cases carry an audit trail. Analysts focus on the exceptions the system flags.
    What we did
An intake service normalizes uploaded spreadsheets and distributes filings through Pub/Sub to Kubernetes workers. Each worker authenticates, files, verifies the submission, and records evidence; failures are retried or escalated.
  • Applied AI for software delivery

AI-assisted code review with a verifiable audit trail

    Problem
Engineering teams want faster feedback without trading away review quality or accountability. Generic AI tooling can produce comments that lack repository context or are difficult to verify.
    Outcome
Review feedback arrives without waiting for a reviewer to become available, and published findings remain visible in the normal pull-request workflow for a person to assess.
    What we did
We built a code-review service that reads each pull request with its surrounding repository context. Independent reviewers analyze the same change, a validation step filters their findings, and approved comments are published back to the repository.
Approach

How we work

Enough process to be predictable. Not enough to be theater.

  1. Understand the problem

We start with the outcome you need and the constraints you actually have, including the ones nobody wrote down.

  2. Define the smallest valuable solution

We scope to what delivers value first, so you can judge the work early instead of at the end.

  3. Build in visible increments

You see working software throughout, not a status report. Every increment is tested and deployable.

  4. Measure, refine, and establish support

We compare the result with the original goal, document the system, and establish how it will be supported as the business changes.

About

Why Fusion Fueled

Fusion Fueled builds and operates custom software for organizations with business-critical workflows. A dedicated lead owns delivery from discovery through production, backed by senior architectural review.

We are strongest in marketplace and e-commerce operations, data and integration platforms, and automation for repeatable operational work. Engagements typically take the form of managed platforms, fixed-scope modernization, or ongoing engineering support.

Because we remain accountable after launch, we design for maintainability, observability, and a clear handoff path. If custom software is not the right investment—or the problem falls outside our strengths—we will say so early.

Contact

Start a conversation

Tell us what you are trying to build or fix. We will reply within two business days with an honest read on whether we are the right fit.

This is usually a good fit when the problem crosses systems, affects daily operations, or needs ongoing ownership after launch.
